I <br /> Greer Property <br /> 15634 Steinegul Road September 9, 2000 <br /> MEscalon, California Page 2 <br /> Report of Findings <br /> The soil sample taken beneath the 550 gallon UST contained Lead All other analytes <br /> tested none detected, ND <br /> On March 7, 1997, WHF, Inc , in conjunction with Frontier Drilling, completed a single <br /> soil boring to 80' below ground level (b g 1) at the former underground storage tank <br /> location Soil samples were collected and sent to the laboratory for analysis The <br /> groundwater was also sampled <br /> I Laboratory analysis of the soil samples detected BTEX and Gasoline contamination No <br /> MTBE was found in any soil sample above the water table The groundwater sample <br /> collected had detectable levels of contamination The domestic well was ND for all <br /> analytes tested <br /> BSK & Associates continued work at this site and installed four (4) monitoring wells and <br /> one soil boring between December 1998 and February 1999 <br />' In July 2000 WIH, Inc , was contracted to execute a work plan prepared by BSK <br /> i 3.0 Scope of Work <br /> On June 28 through July 24,WHF performed the activities as descnbed m the "Work Plan <br />' for Site Charactenzation" dated August 28, 1999, by BSK Environmental During this <br /> time period WHF, in conjunction with Frontier Drilling completed 10 soil borings, 5 of <br /> which were converted to groundwater momtonng wells, and 3 of which were converted to <br /> vapor extraction test wells in accordance to the above referenced work plan This event <br /> provided the data to evaluate the soil contamination and the extent of groundwater <br /> contamination underlying the site Soil bonng/monitonng well/extraction well locations <br />' are identified in Figure 3 of this report The additional monitoring well and vapor <br /> extraction well were added during field activities at this site based on a mutual agreement <br /> between San Joaquin County PHS/EBD and WHF, Inc <br /> 1 <br />' 3.1 Dulling <br /> Permits were obtained as necessary for all wells (including borings) before <br />' drilling began from San Joaquin County Department of Public Health, Division <br /> of Environmental Health. The soil boring were accomplished using a mobile <br /> mounted drilling ng employing the use of a hollow stem flight auger whose <br />' outer diameter is no less than 8 inches. <br /> • <br /> I <br /> 1 <br />
