Date: 6 September 2000 <br /> Subject: Ranch Market, 23569 South Santa Fe Road, Riverbank, San Joaquin County <br /> AGENDA <br /> Introductions <br /> Purpose Approve new well location for 23565 South Santa Fe Road. <br /> Background (Regional Board, San Joaquin County) <br /> • Site in County LOP program since 1991 when USTs were removed. <br /> • MtBE identified in neighboring domestic well (DW-2) at 38 µg/1 in October 1999, <br /> confirmed at 58 µg/1 in November 1999. <br /> • County requested assistance due to non compliance. <br /> • RB enforcement letter sent in December 1999. <br /> • RB meeting with property owners (Ms. Huda Gubary) in January 2000. Notified <br /> Ms. Gubary that additional work will be required, and encouraged them to reapply <br /> to Cleanup Fund. (Application was accepted, and an LOC has been issued.) <br /> • DW-2 taken out of service on 6 January 2000. The Ranch Market well (DW-1) <br /> supplies water for both buildings. <br /> • Video logging of DW-1 and DW-2 completed in May 2000. <br /> • Workplan to complete additional soil and groundwater assessment finalized in <br /> June 2000. <br /> • Secor completed soil borings in July 2000, and monitor well installation in <br /> August 2000. <br /> Summary of Recent Investigation (Secor) <br /> Pr000sed location of new well (Secor) <br />
