Local Health District (response 11-27-85) : If approved, the subsequent division of land will require a per- colation test for Parcel A and must meet the requirements of San Joaquin County Ordinance No . 549 . Woodbridge Irrigation District (response 12-9-85) : The District points out that the project is adjacent to their canal , which " . . . is approximately thirty-six feet in width, and carries water of a depth of about seven feet . " "The placing of homes immediately adjacent to the canal creates a highly undesirable situation. By the means of this letter and at the direction of the Board of Directors of this District , we are lodging a protest against the project as delineated on the ten- tative map. " If approved, they request " . . . the installation of a six-foot cyclone fence, set in concrete, and without gates or other ope- nings leading to the canal . " Public Works Department (response, 12-30-85) : "The site is not located within a Federal Flood Insurance Administration Designated Flood Hazard Area. Pearson Road and Morse Road have an existing right-of-way width of 40 feet and a planned right-of-way width of 50 feet . " Recommendation: "A 10-foot roadway dedication on Pearson Road along Frontage on Parcel A is required.
