Quarterly Monitonng and Sampling Report(Q2 2002) 6 <br /> Ranh Market,23569 nta Fe Road.Riverbank,California July 8 2002 <br /> Is EDB, or oxygenates Copies of the laboratory analytical reports and chain-of-custody manifests <br /> are included in Attachment 4 <br /> Conclusion <br /> Nine groundwater monitoring wells and three domestic water wells were sampled this quarter <br /> Groundwater elevation decreased an average 0 30 feet since January 2001 Referring to Table 3, <br /> a increase in the concentration of benzene, TPHg, and MtBE was observed in wells MW-1 <br /> through MW-5 The anomalous concentrations of benzene,TPHg, MtBE, and 1,2-DCA present <br /> in well MW-5d in the first quarter 2002 were not observed this quarter The future analytical <br /> results will be closely monitored in well MW-5d MW-6, located upgradient of the former <br /> USTs, and MW-S, located cross gradient of the former USTs, did not contain benzene, TPHg, or <br /> MtBE above laboratory reporting limits this quarter <br /> Remediation System Permits and Installation <br /> As part of the remediation system installation, SECOR prepared and submitted remediation well <br /> installation permit applications to the SJCEHD and an Authority to Construct permit application <br /> to the San Joaquin County Air Pollution Control District <br /> Future Work <br /> Future work planned in the third quarter 2002 include the following tasks <br /> • Conduct third quarter 2002 monitoring and sampling event <br /> • Conduct monthly sampling of domestic well DW-1 <br /> • Install four soil vapor extraction wells, 20 ozone sparge wells, and remediation system <br /> piping and equipment <br /> File Ranch Market\Repert\Riverbank-02-2Q <br />
