r <br /> Solleco Thermcat 500 <br /> OPERATIONAL SUMMARY FOR THE 500 SCFM <br /> THERMAL / CATALYTIC OXIDIZER <br /> • A temperature controller modulates a supplemental fuel valve to <br /> maintain a minimum 1400° temperature in the thermal mode or 600° <br /> temperature in the catalytic mode while well vapor is on-line The <br /> controller has an alarm contact which locks out the well isolation valve <br /> when the oxidizer is not at temperature or any of the systems' alarms are <br /> engaged <br /> • A burner provides the desired heat to maintain temperature inside of the <br /> oxidizer The combustion air blower adds oxygen to allow proper <br /> oxidation of the VOC stream. <br /> • A high hn-nt controller is provided to monitor stack outlet temperatures <br /> The controller has an alarm contact which locks out the well isolation <br /> valve when the oxidizer temperature rises too high. In the thermal mode <br /> the maximum temperature is 1650° and in the catalytic mode the <br /> maximum temperature is 1150°. <br /> • A positive displacement blower is provided to extract the well vapors <br /> when the unit is at temperature. The blower is capable of medium <br /> vacuum levels of up to 12" mercury vacuum or 160" w c . <br /> • An entrained liquid separator 1s in the process line to remove liquids <br /> prior to the positive displacement blower The water can be pumped out <br /> to a safe storage container for remediation at a later date <br /> • A volumetric flow transnutter is provided with a phot tube in the process <br /> line to measure a differential pressure and provide a flow measurement <br /> and recording <br /> • A chart recorder is provided to record volumetnc flow rates and stack <br /> temperatures for future reference <br /> i <br />
