Quarterly Monitoring and Sampling Report(Q1 2002) 6 <br /> Ranch Market,23569 Santa Fe Road,Riverbank,Cahforiva _ Apnl 26,2002 <br /> • Conclusion <br /> Ten groundwater monitoring wells and three domestic water wells were sampled this quarter <br /> Groundwater elevation increased an average 133 feet since October 2001 Referring to Table 3, <br /> a decrease in the concentration of benzene, TPHg, and MtBE was observed In wells MW-1 <br /> through MW-5 Well MW-5d contained anomalous concentrations of benzene, TPHg, MtBE, <br /> and 1,2-DCA The future analytical results will be closely monitored in well MW-5d MW-6, <br /> located upgradient of the former USTs, and MW-8, located cross gradient of the former USTs, <br /> did not contain benzene, TPHg, or MtBE above laboratory reporting limits this quarter MW-7 <br /> contained 16 ppb benzene, and TPHg and MtBE were not detected above laboratory reporting <br /> limits <br /> Remediation System Permits and Installation <br /> As part of the remediation system installation, SECOR prepared and submitted a Project <br /> Schedule for Remediation System Installation letter to the RWQCB dated March 1, 2002 In <br /> addition, SECOR submitted an electrical and natural gas service request to PG&E on March 19, <br /> 2002 <br /> Future Work <br /> Future work planned in the second quarter 2002 include the following tasks <br /> • Conduct second quarter 2002 monitoring and sampling event <br /> • Conduct monthly sampling of domestic well DW-1 <br /> • Continue remediation system permitting and installation <br /> • Prepare and submit a work plan for remediation well installation to the RWQCB <br /> File Ranch Market\Report\Riverbank-02-I Q <br />
