Quarterly Monttonng and Samphng Report(Q4 2001) 4 Ranch Market,23569 Santa Fe Road,Riverbank,Cahfornta January 3 2002 dedicated well pump, pressure tank, concrete pad, and well-related underground electrical and water service line was installed Details of the well installation are described in SECOR's Domestic Well Installation Report(DW-2R), dated February 1, 2001 On January 8, 2001, SECOR sampled DW-2R and submitted the water sample to Kiff Analytical for BTEX, TPHg, oxygenates, 1,2-DCA, and EDB using EPA method 8260B The sample was also analyzed at CLS for Nitrate/Nitnte using EPA method 300 0 SECOR collected confirmation water samples from DW-2R on January 11, 2001, and again on January 15, 2001 Analytical data is summarized in Table 3 After review of the confirmation samples, the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department (SJCEHD) requested the well be brought online On January 18, 2001, SECOR met with Mr Michael Infurna with SJCEHD for the final inspection of well DW-2R The water service from the Aero Pure Water supply tank was disconnected and the water valve was opened, j allowing DW-2R to supply water to the home on the Pantoja Property Groundwater Monitoring Water Table Elevations and Gradient On October 1, 2001, SECOR personnel measured the depth to water in each of the nine site- related groundwater monitoring wells (Table 3) Well MW-7 could not be accessed for monitoring or sampling due to a dog within the fenced property A water level indicator was used to gauge the wells to the nearest 0 01 foot A groundwater elevation contour map indicates that groundwater flow is generally toward the south at a gradient of 0 005 ft/ft (Figure 4) Current and historical groundwater monitoring data are summarized in Table 3 Separate-Phase Petroleum Thickness Well gauging and sampling efforts for the fourth quarter 2001 did not detect separate-phase petroleum hydrocarbons (SP) in any of the wells monitored(Table 3) Historically, SP has not been present in the groundwater monitoring wells at the site Groundwater Sampling Well Purging Groundwater monitoring wells were purged using a submersible pump and disposable bailers until pH, temperature, and conductivity readings had stabilized Temperature, conductivity, and pH readings were recorded in the wells, at regular purge intervals of one casing volume, with a portable instrument that was calibrated before the wells were purged Water purged from the ten groundwater monitoring wells was stored in drums on site, pending characterization and disposal File Ranch Market\Report\Riverbank-01-4Q
