Sutter, Stockton <br /> As we discussed during our meeting of August 12 , 1992 , our staff has <br /> obtained some rough cost estimates for the some of the recommended <br /> activities at the Human Services Agency site. Estimates were received <br /> from two local companies. Unfortunately the consulting company which <br /> performed the prior work on this site would not offer rough estimates <br /> without written specifications outlining the work to be done. <br /> Description of work: <br /> - Installation of one monitoring well drilled to 70 ft. and three <br /> vapor extraction wells drilled to 55 ft. <br /> - Collection of a minimum of 3-4 soil samples each well and <br /> initial water sample of new - monitoring well; analyses to be <br /> performed for BTEX and TPH gasoline and diesel <br /> - Preparation of work plans, health and safety plans, reports of <br /> work performed and quarterly monitoring reports <br /> - Estimated casts for rental and operation of a vapor extraction <br /> treatment unit <br /> The following is a summary of information received to date: <br /> RESNA, Escalon, CA (Bill Channell 209 828-3507) <br /> $18, 000 for well installations, preparation of work plan, <br /> health and safety plan, sampling and final report <br /> $12, 000 for one year of quarterly monitoring and reports <br /> (No estimate for vapor treatment equipment) <br /> GEOLOGICAL AUDIT, Stockton, CA (Bob Marty 209 956-0264) <br /> $17, 000 for well installations, preparation of work plan, <br /> health and safety plan, sampling and final report <br /> $3 ,500 per quarter for monitoring and report preparation <br /> ($14 , 000 yearly) <br /> $7, 000 per month for rental of vapor treatment unit-- <br /> (thermal <br /> nit(thermal oxidation) ; purchase price of unit would be <br /> $50, 000 <br /> If you have any questions, please contact me at #3431. <br /> cc: B.
