In the Report, Weston Solutions recommends that this site be considered for Low
Risk Closure. In order for the EHD to give further consideration for this request the following
concerns should be addressed:
1) Demonstrate the down-gradient extent of impacted groundwater from MW-2, the most
impacted monitoring well.
2) Provide estimates of residual dissolved and sorbed contaminant masses.
3) Provide an estimate of the time required for dissolved contaminant concentrations to
achieve background conditions of groundwater.
4) Provide a demonstration that the secondary source in the area of MW-2 has been
remediated to the extent practicable.
5) Completion of the conceptual site model (CSM) with plume map and description of
plume disposition and behavior.
6) If site qualifies for Low Threat Closure Policy criteria, demonstrate how each of the
criteria is met.
If you have any questions please call Lisa Medina at (209) 468-3455.
Sincerely,
Lisa Medina, REHS_ Nuel C.
