MOFFAT, MANTECA <br /> Monitoring wells have been installed and quarterly monitoring, groundwater sampling and <br /> reporting must be performed. The vertical and lateral extent of the contamination at this site has <br /> not been defined. This definition will be required later. PHS/EHD placed this site in the Local Oversight Program on June 14, <br /> 2001. The detection limits used when analyzing the soil beneath this UST at the time of its <br /> removal do not meet current standards. PHS/EHD staff noted odor and discoloration to the soil <br /> when the UST was removed. Groundwater in this area is about 15 feet below ground surface.
