The following is an itemized list of hazardous waste violations that have not been <br /> addressed for GEWEKE AUTO & RV COLLISION CENTER as of April13, 2020. <br /> Open violations from November 22, 2019 inspection <br /> Violation #103 - Failed to retain hazardous waste determination including waste analysis on site for 3 years. <br /> OBSERVATION The paint booth filters waste is being disposed of as non-hazardous waste because it underwent <br /> analytical lab testing and tested non-hazardous. The business operator does not have the analytical lab analy is that <br /> supports the current handling and disposal of the waste. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE: A business operator shall keep records of any hazardous waste determinations mlade <br /> in accordance with Title 22 California Code of Regulations (CCR) section 66262.11 for at least three years from the <br /> date that the waste was last sent to an on-site or off-site treatment, storage, or disposal facility. The records may <br /> include Safety Data Sheets (SDS), waste test results or other hazardous waste determination documentation. <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Assemble the hazardous waste determination documentation for the paint booth Tilt r <br /> waste, maintain on site and submit a copy to the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department(EHD). <br /> If hazardous waste determination documentation is not available, immediately make a hazardous waste <br /> determination and begin managing the paint booth filters as specified in Title 22 CCR. Use Safety Data Shee <br /> (SDS), waste sampling and test results or other knowledge to support your hazardous waste determination. Waste <br /> testing must be done using methods specified in Title 22 CCR including sections 66261.20-24. Submit a statment <br /> and supporting documentation with your hazardous waste determination. <br /> Demonstrate current storage and labeling for wastes determined to be hazardous wastes. Provide disposal r (cords <br /> for wastes determined to be hazardous wastes and stored longer than the number of days specified in Title 22 CCR <br /> for your hazardous waste generator status. <br /> ❑ This violation was corrected ❑ This violation will be corrected by (date): <br /> ❑ Supporting documents included <br /> Describe actions taken or will be taken to correct violation: <br /> Page 1 of 2 <br />
