' ROY F WESTON, INC <br /> STOCKTON ANALYTICAL LABORATORY <br />' ANALYTICAL CASE NARRATIVE <br />' Client SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY <br /> RFW# 91115318 <br /> Test SW 08010 Purgeable Halogenated Hydrocarbons <br />' 1 These three ( 3 ) soil samples were sampled on November 9, 1991 <br /> 2 These samples were analyzed on November 20-23 , 1991 in <br />' accordance with the protocols specified in MSW 846, Method <br /> 8010 <br /> 3 All required holding times for these samples were met <br /> 4 The continuing calibration standards associated with this set <br /> of samples were within acceptable Q C limits <br /> 5 The method blanks associated with these samples were free of <br /> target analyte interferences at, or above , the reporting limit <br />' specified for this pro3ect <br /> 6 Surrogate recoveries were within acceptable Q C criteria <br /> except for Bromochloromethane in Composite sample B and <br />' Bromochloromethane and 1-Chloroheptane in Composite sample C <br /> Composite sample C was re-run due to low surrogate recovery <br /> and again showed low surrogate recovery These results <br />' indicate that matrix effects may be interfering with the <br /> surrogate recoveries <br />' 7 The blank spike recoveries were within QC limits . <br /> 8 All retention times were within acceptable limits <br />' 9 Composite sample B contained Dichlorodifluoromethane above the <br /> reporting limit This analyte was confirmed on a second <br /> column. <br /> I y <br /> Gail R.
