Historical groundwater analytical results are presented in Table A-2 in Appendix
A. The analytical reports and Chain of Custody forms are presented in Appendix C.
Petroleum hydrocarbons were detected in samples collected from MW-2, MW-2A, MW-7, and
MW-8 The MW-2 sample had the highest concentrations of dissolved petroleum hydrocarbons;
benzene (1,500µg/L), toluene (17µg/L), ethylbenzene (1,100µg/L), xylenes (1,000µg/L), and
tTPH-G (9,100µg/L) were detected. In MW-2A, which showed a large decrease in contaminant
concentrations since the previous sampling event, benzene (200 µg/L), toluene (14 µg/L),
ethylbenzene (160 µg/L), xylenes (50 µg/L), and TPH-G (1,400 µg/L) were detected. Benzene
was detected in groundwater samples collected from MW-7 and MW-8, at 0 5 µglL and 0 6
jig/L, respectively TPH-G was detected in MW-8 at 600 µg/L, however this well is located
' at another UST site Petroleum hydrocarbons were not detected in cross-gradient wells MW-3A,
MW-4, MW-5, and MW-6 Petroleum hydrocarbons were also not detected in up-gradient well
MW_9
Table 3-2
Organic Analytical Results
San Joaquin County Human Services Agency
15 and 16 December 1997
Groundwater Ethyl-
Elevation Benzene Toluene benzene Total Xylene TPH-G
Well (feet) WIL) (µg/L) (peg/L) WIL) WIL)
MW-2 NM 1,500 17 1,100 1,000 9,100
MW-2A -22 01 200 14 160 so 1,400
' MW-3A -22 18 ND (0 5) ND (0 5) ND (0 5) ND (2) ND (50)
MW-4 -21 22 ND (0 5) ND (0 5) ND (0 5) ND (2) ND (50)
' MW-5 -1950 ND (0 5) ND (0 5) ND (0 5) ND (2) ND (50)
MW-6 -20 82 ND (0 5) ND (0 5) ND (0 5) ND (2) ND (50)
MW-7 -22 44 0 5 ND (0 5) ND (0 5) ND (2) ND (50)
MW-8 -22 17 0 6 ND (0 5) ND (0 5) ND (2) 600
MW-9 -22 11 ND (0 5) ND (0 5) ND (0-5) I —T
ND (2) ND (50)
Notes ND (0 5) = Analyte not detected, detection linut mdJcated in parentheses
L IPR0JEC7SZAKJ0QkRSAV1SA 97 DEC f lWUULry 1999
1
