Each question from the DTSC letter has been copied below, with LLNL's <br /> response following each question. <br /> 1. Who is responsible for the overall maintenance and proper management of <br /> wastes at the shooting range? <br /> Response: <br /> The Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory (LLNL) Security <br /> Organization is responsible for overall maintenance and proper management <br /> of wastes at the SFTF. <br /> SFTF facility maintenance (e.g., electrical work, building maintenance, <br /> painting, construction, road work) is provided by LLNL facility maintenance <br /> resources after the Security Organization initiates the work authorization <br /> process. <br /> SFTF hazardous waste management is the responsibility of the Security <br /> Organization generator at the SFTF waste generation location. After the <br /> hazardous waste container is closed, LLNL Radioactive and Hazardous <br /> Waste Management (RHWM) is contacted to pick up the container.
