CERCLIS The Comprehensive Environmental Response, 0.5 miles 1
Compensation, and Liability Information System
(CERCLIS) database identifies hazardous waste sites
that require investigation and possible remedial action to
mitigate potential negative impacts on human health or
the environment.
Effective Date - 4/97
SWLF State inventory of solid waste disposal and landfill sites 0.5 miles 1
Effective Date - 4/97
LUST List of information pertaining to all reported leaking 0.5 miles 1
storage tanks
Effective Date - 3/96
AST State aboveground storage tank sites listing 0.25 0
Effective Date - 11/96 miles
UST State underground storage tank sites listing 0.25 2
Effective Date - 12/96 miles
RCRA RCRA-regulated hazardous waste generator notifiers Adjacent LQG— 1
Generators list; both Large (LQG) and Small Quantity Generators SQG—0
(SQG) are included in this list
Effective Date - 12/96
ERNS EPA's Emergency Response Notification System Adjacent 0
(ERNS) list contains reported spill records of oil and
lie
hazardous substances
Effective Date - 3/97
Based on anticipated groundwater flow direction, listed site location, distance from the subject
property, documented spills/releases or violations, case status and other information, those
facilities that are believed likely to have the potential to create a Recognized Environmental
Condition on the subject property are described below. RCRA generators and UST facilities that
do not have reported releases or violations and facilities with case closed status are not
anticipated to have created a Recognized Environmental Concern on the subject site. The
subject property was not identified in the databases reviewed.
7.1.1 Federal NPL List
The EPA's National Priorities List (NPL) of uncontrolled or abandoned hazardous wastes sites
was reviewed for sites within one mile of the subject property. To appear on the NPL, sites must
have met or surpassed a predetermined hazard ranking system score, been chosen as a state's top
priority site, pose a significant health or environmental threat, or be a site where the EPA has
determined that remedial action is more cost-effective than removal action. The database search
identified one NPL site within one mile of the subject property.
Sharpe Army Depot is located on Roth Road less that 1/8 mile downgradient from the subject
property. According to the database, the site is a military facility that is currently undergoing
remedial assessment. The facility is classified as a contaminated groundwater and soil site based
on a release of solvents.
