Prepare a Health and Safety Plan for Site activities.
2. Mobilize to the Site and perform direct push technology(DPT) soil borings in the immediate vicinity
of each of the locations specified below. The mobilization will include an underground public utility
stake out. The utility stake out will include a call-in to the local jurisdictional public utilities
clearance organization to identify and locate public utilities present on and around the Site. A public
utilities stake out will not include location of private utilities on the Site property. Therefore, a
private utility locate will occur at the Site.
3. install a total of two(2)test borings at 1 to 10 feet below ground level (bgl) in the vicinity of the
oil/water separator. In addition, two contingency borings are planned to allow for potential findings
resulting in unknown RECs that could be identified during the Phase I ESA, bringing the total number
of borings to four(4). A concrete core drill may be necessary at the two contingent locations. Soils
will be collected from each test boring and screened in the field with a photoionization detector
(PID) or TVA Model 1000 Organic Vapor Analyzer(OVA)equipped with a flame ionization detector
(FID). Based on field screening results, one representative soil sample will be collected from each
borehole and submitted for confirmation laboratory analysis. Excess soil cuttings will be returned to
the borehole and the surface will be sealed with a bentonite plug and replacement of the asphalt
surface_ Re C - ( w1►--. Ce-v ,nx —
4. If present, collect up to four(4)groundwater samples from the advanced borehole locations, which
include one from each of the boring locations. Samples will be collected through a temporary PVC
well screen and riser, and samples will be obtained using a peristaltic pump and polyethylene
tubing. No permanent wells will be installed at the boring locations. Groundwater is not expected
to be encountered.
S.
