INTRODUCTION <br />' At the request ofMr Peter Lenz of Innovative Beverage Brokers,Advanced GcoEnvironmental,Inc <br /> (AGE) has prepared this quarterly report for the property located at 1648 Shaw Road, Stockton, <br /> California The site and the surrounding area are illustrated in Figure 1 Structures,boring and well <br />' locations are illustrated on Figure 2 Site background information is provided in Appendix A <br /> I2 0. PROCEDURES <br /> Field work was performed in accordance with guidelines issued by San Joaquin County <br /> I Environmental Health Department (EHD) for the sampling of ground water morutonng wells and <br /> Central Valley Regional Water Quahty Control Board(CVRWQCB)guidelines for investigation of <br /> underground storage tank (UST) sites <br /> 2 1 WELL MONITORING AND EVACUATION <br />�• On 19 May 2003 a Solinst water level meter was used <br /> Y � to measure the depth to ground water in <br /> monitoring wells MW4 through MW7 relative to the tops of the well casings Depth measurements <br /> were not possible in wells MWI through MW3 because these wells had no measurable water <br /> (Appendix B) Consequently, these wells could not be purged or sampled Field sheets and data are <br /> included in Appendix B <br /> After recording water level measurements, dedicated disposable plastic bailers were used to purge <br /> wells MW4 through MW7 of standing water Approximately 1 75 gallons ofwater were purged from <br /> MW5 and approximately 0 25, 1 5 and 0 5 gallons of water were removed from wells MW4, MW6 <br /> and MW7, respectively, before the wells were purged dry Ground water temperature, pH and <br /> conductivity were measured at regular intervals during purging using an Oakton water analyzer <br /> Purged water was stored on-site in labeled, 55-gallon DOT-approved drums Field sheets and data <br /> are included in Appendix B <br /> 2 2 COLLECTION OF GROUND WATER SAMPLES <br /> A water sample was collected from each purged well using the dedicated disposable bailer after <br /> allowing the wells to achieve a minimum 80%recovery of the pre-purge water volume Each water <br /> sample was transferred into three 40-m1 VOA vials containing 0 5 mi 18% hydrochloric acid as a <br /> • sample preservative and into one 1-liter amber bottle without added preservative After collection, <br /> the samples were properly labeled, placed in a chilled container and transported under chain-of- <br /> Advanced GeoEnvironmental,Inc <br />
