k'q KLEINEELDER
IRM is currently a tenant at the property and is concerned about potential soil and groundwater
contamination associated with former operations related to the ASTs. On behalf of IRM, HCB
contacted Kleinfelder and requested a proposal to conduct a limited soil and groundwater
assessment in the AST site area to establish the baseline environmental conditions existing at the
property at the time IRM commenced its operations. Kleinfelder prepared a proposal titled
"Limited Soil and Groundwater Assessment, Mel Rice Terminal, Port of Stockton, Stockton,
California," dated April 19, 2004. This report documents Kleinfelder's findings based on
implementation of this proposal.
43851.E01/ST05R158/DH:ly Page 4 of 12
©2005,Kleinfelder,Inc. February 9,2005
