(Ground Zero) is submitting this Groundwater Monitoring Well <br /> Destruction Report documenting the work performed at 11651 Palm Lane in Manteca, California in <br /> February 2010, on behalf of M&L Commodities/Southwest Hide Company. The well destruction <br /> activities were conducted in accordance with the January 21, 2010, Workplan for Destruction of <br /> Groundwater Monitoring Wells, which was approved by the California Regional Water Quality <br /> Control Board (RWQCB) in correspondence dated January 28, 2010 (a copy of which has been <br /> included in Attachment A). The location of the site is shown on Figure 1. <br /> SITE ACTIVITIES <br /> At the request of the RWQCB all site monitoring wells were destroyed. Wells MW4, MW5, <br /> MW7, MW8, MW 15, MW 16, MW 17, MW 19R and MW21 were properly destroyed per San <br /> Joaquin County Environmental Health Department(EHD)well destruction standards. <br /> Permitting <br /> Before initiating fieldwork well destruction permits were obtained from EHD. Because well MW4 <br /> was located in County right-of-way an encroachment permit was obtained from the San Joaquin <br /> County Department of Public Works (DPW).
