1 1 <br /> B. MITIGATION MEASURES: <br /> 1 . Adverse environmental effects which cannot be avoided if the <br /> proposal is implemented. <br /> a. The project will cause permanent removal of 110.6 acres from <br /> commerical agricultural production, though family food production will be <br /> possible. <br /> b. The development will require 650 plus/minus gallons of water <br /> per day dwelling unit. The current proposal is for 66 units. <br /> c. The proposed development will produce 29,700 gallons per day <br /> of sewage effluent for, the subdivision at a rate of 450 gallons per day per <br /> unit. <br /> d. No retention pond is proposed for the development since the <br /> size of the lots provides adequate area for on-site drainage. However, <br /> runoff will be increased by covering of ground surface area. <br /> e. The development will alter the physical environment of the <br /> site as a result of grading, domestic water demand, paving of streets, <br /> construction of structures and provisions for drainage due to increased <br /> runoff. <br /> f. The Lodi School District will be affected by the addition of <br /> new students. <br /> C. MITIGATION MEASURES PROPOSED TO MITIGATE IMPACT OF THE DEVELOPMENT <br /> 1 . Mitigation measures to be implemented if proposal is approved. <br /> a. The proposed subdivision will encourage the solar energy to <br /> create energy efficient homes. The details for this aspect of the project <br /> have not been developed to date. <br /> b. All proposed subdivision improvements will be constructed as <br /> per the San Joaquin County Standards. <br />
