1 1
B. MITIGATION MEASURES:
1 . Adverse environmental effects which cannot be avoided if the
proposal is implemented.
a. The project will cause permanent removal of 110.6 acres from
commerical agricultural production, though family food production will be
possible.
b. The development will require 650 plus/minus gallons of water
per day dwelling unit. The current proposal is for 66 units.
c. The proposed development will produce 29,700 gallons per day
of sewage effluent for, the subdivision at a rate of 450 gallons per day per
unit.
d. No retention pond is proposed for the development since the
size of the lots provides adequate area for on-site drainage. However,
runoff will be increased by covering of ground surface area.
e. The development will alter the physical environment of the
site as a result of grading, domestic water demand, paving of streets,
construction of structures and provisions for drainage due to increased
runoff.
f. The Lodi School District will be affected by the addition of
new students.
C. MITIGATION MEASURES PROPOSED TO MITIGATE IMPACT OF THE DEVELOPMENT
1 . Mitigation measures to be implemented if proposal is approved.
a. The proposed subdivision will encourage the solar energy to
create energy efficient homes. The details for this aspect of the project
have not been developed to date.
b. All proposed subdivision improvements will be constructed as
per the San Joaquin County Standards.
