EMERGENCY RESPONSE PLAN <br /> EMPLOYEE TRAINING <br /> 1. The Emergency Response Team consists of, <br /> Jeff Kitto <br /> Manual Villegas <br /> Lynn Brown <br /> 2. If there is an emergency, i.e., chemical spill, fire, earthquake, the response team will <br /> notify all employees. All employees will then immediately exit the building via the <br /> closest safe exit (see Emergency Exit Map.) Employees will proceed immediately to the <br /> back parking lot, where a headcount will be taken to insure that all employees have safely <br /> exited the building. <br /> 3. Neighboring businesses and Environmental Health should be immediately notified. <br /> 4. If necessary, notify Emergency Responders: <br /> Ambulance, Police, Fire, CHP 911 <br /> Calif. In the event of a spill or leak, the response team will: <br /> a. Monitor leaks, ruptures <br /> b. Provide Structural barriers to contain spill <br /> c. Provide absorbent materials to cantain spill <br /> d. Cover floor and storm drains <br /> e. Automate fire suppression systems <br /> f. Eliminate sources of ignition <br /> g. Stop all processes and operations <br /> h. Shut off water, gas and electric as appropriate <br /> i. Provide safety equipment for response team <br /> J. Suction using shopvac with subsequent labeling of hazardous waste <br /> containers. Cleaning fluid collected will be put in appropriate still. <br /> k. Material Safety Data Sheets for all chemicals are in the MSDS binder. <br />
