Violation 406: You state that the 30-gallon drum did not previously hold a hazardous material, however the <br /> drum was labeled with an accumulation start date of 8/6/2019 for hazardous waste petroleum distillates and <br /> the drum contained a green residual liquid at the time of inspection. See attached photos 0664, 0665, and 0666. <br /> Submit a corrective action statement documenting that this container is empty and properly labeled as empty <br /> and with the date emptied; or explain how this container is labeled if being used to store hazardous waste; or <br /> explain how this container is being managed. <br /> 4. Violation 601: The 55-gallon drum of solid petroleum distillate hazardous waste and the two 5-gallon containers <br /> of Solvair liquid waste need to be disposed of as hazardous waste, and hazardous waste disposal records for this <br /> waste need to be submitted. <br /> 5. Violation 605: <br /> a. The two 5-gallon containers of Solvair liquid waste need to be labeled according to hazardous waste <br /> regulations because the Solvair waste failed the fish bio-assay test and are thus considered hazardous <br /> waste. Submit a corrective action statement documenting that the two 5-gallon containers of Solvair <br /> liquid waste are labeled with the words "Hazardous Waste," name and address of the generator, <br /> hazardous properties, physical state, composition (contents), and accumulation start date. <br /> b. The 5-gallon bucket of solid petroleum distillate dry cleaning hazardous waste is still labeled as "liquid" <br /> for the physical state, as seen in the "Waste Container Label" photo you provided. See attached photos <br /> 0675, 0677, and 0678 of the solid petroleum distillate waste I observed at the time of inspection. Submit <br /> a corrective action statement documenting that the physical state has been changed to "solid." <br /> c.
