The report was delivered to the business on 6/9/2016. The violations on the 6/9/3016 inspection report <br /> were: <br /> -Failed to submit a written response within 30 days of receiving an inspection report <br /> -Failed to maintain all communication or alarm systems, spill control, or decontamination equipment <br /> -Stored hazardous waste onsite greater than 180 days <br /> -Failed to completely label containers or tanks of hazardous waste <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE: The operator of the site or facility which receives an inspection report shall submit a <br /> written response to the department or the local officer or agency authorized to enforce this chapter pursuant to <br /> subdivision (a)of Section 25180 within 60 days of receipt of the inspection report, or within a shorter time as the <br /> department or the local officer or agency may reasonably require,which shall include a statement documenting <br /> corrective actions taken by the operator or proposing corrective actions which will be taken by the operator,for <br /> purposes of compliance with this chapter, or disputing the existence of the violation. The local agency,the San <br /> Joaquin County Environmental Health Department, requires response within 30 days. <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Provide a corrective action statement and supporting documentation to the San Joaquin <br /> County Environmental Health Department. <br /> This is a repeat violation, Class II. <br /> 303 CCR 66262.34(d)(2) Failed to maintain all communication or alarm systems, spill control, or decontamination <br /> equipment. <br /> OBSERVATION: <br /> 1. The fire extinguishers in the facility are not being serviced annually.The last service date was August 2016(see <br /> photo IMG 0691). <br /> 2. The pressure gauge on the fire extinguisher, located in the north-west corner of the facility, indicates that the fire <br /> extinguisher needs to be recharged (IMG 0690). <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE:All facility communications or alarm systems,fire protection equipment,spill control <br /> equipment, and decontamination equipment,where required, shall be tested and maintained as necessary to <br /> assure its proper operation in time of emergency. <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Bring the facility's fire extinguishers into proper working order by repair, replacement or <br /> testing.
