San Joaquin St. <br /> Stockton, CA 9S202 <br /> Public Health Services, Environmental Health Division (PHS/EHD) has completed it's review of the March <br /> 1991 Work Plan submitted by IT Corporation for the above referenced site. We have found the plan to be <br /> adequate provided the following consideration are addressed. <br /> According to the San Joaquin County Assessor's information, the property belongs to A.T. and T. <br /> According to Tri-Regional Recommendations, please be informed that technical assistance for completing <br /> reports and work plans may be provided by environmental consultants in the private sector, however, <br /> reports,documents, and plans which contain engineering,geology, and/or geophysical information must be <br /> prepared under the direction of properly licensed individuals in the State of California (Sections 6735,7835, <br /> and 7835.1 of the California Business and Professions Code). Responsibility for the technical information <br /> is indicated by the signature and/or stamp of the seal of the licensed individual. More than one signature <br /> and/or seal my be required where more than one professional specialty is included in the technical <br /> document submitted. Please submit documentation indicating that the March 1991 Work Plan was prepared <br /> under the direction of a licensed individual. <br /> The Utility Map, Figure 3, failed to locate a number of structures found in the sidewalks adjacent to the <br /> Pacific Bell building. Please provide a more detailed map identifying these structures. Figure 4, Proposed <br /> Monitoring Well Locations, indicated that the wells will be drilled in the sidewalks adjoining Hunter Street, <br /> Lindsay Street and North San Joaquin Street. Off-site well construction in public easements will require <br /> encroachment permits from the City of Stockton and copies must be submitted prior to issuance of <br /> monitoring well permits. Additionally, please submit a monitoring well permit application, signed by the <br /> driller, or a letter of permission from the driller with a C57 license for your consultant to sign, and a check <br /> for $89.00. <br /> All samples collected, soil and water, must be stored at 4°C in an ice chest in the field and during transport. <br /> Please be informed that this office requires 48 hours prior to any site activity. <br /> The detection limits outlined in the work plan for water are according to the LUFT Manual, appropriate for <br /> soil. Please revise water detection limits to reflect those outlined in the LUFT Manual. <br /> If used oils are suspected contaminates, analysis for chlorinated hydrocarbons and metals (Cd, Cr, Pb, Zn, <br /> and Ni) should be performed. <br /> A Division of San Joaquin county Health Care Services �� <br />
