The proposed scope of work outlined in this <br /> correspondence is based on your April 24, 1996 ]Etter to Marian Cecile Mohr Fry and on our <br /> site visit on April 26, 1996, <br /> During rhe site visit, d= (3) groundwater MaitOdAg wells were found on the property. The <br /> wells were opened and measured for depth-to-water and total depth. The wells are accessible <br /> MW appear to be fully functional. <br /> As requested, the gruundwater from these three wells will be sampled for the possible presence <br /> of gasoline hydrocarbons. If laboratory results fiom the groundwater samples indicate that <br /> gasoline hydrocarbons are not present, then a formal request for site closure can be made and <br /> the walls can be abandoned in-place. To accomplish these work steps, IT will perform the <br /> following scope.of work consisting of three tasks_ <br /> SCOPE OF WORK <br /> Task 1. Groundwater Sampling <br /> The three on-site grouUdwater mcmitoring wells will be monitored and saulpled. An IT <br /> Engineering Technician will visit the site and for each of the weals will measure depth-to- <br /> groundwater and total depth, purge at least three well volumes while mcamming the pH, <br /> temperature, electrical conductivity and turbidity of the dituent, and sample in iaboraWry- <br /> supplied glassware.
