Contact the local fire department and the San Joaquin Valley Air Pollution Control District for <br /> any applicable permits and requirements . <br /> 2 . Any changes in information and scope of work must be submitted to EHD for approval prior to <br /> commencing work . All new addenda supersede the previous ones . <br /> 3 . Provide written notification to ust( slgov , org to arrange the following appointments ( a 4 & hour <br /> notice is required for inspection appointments ) . Please be aware that inspections for <br /> emergency work must be scheduled within five days of permit approval . <br /> a . Visual inspection of the penetration fittings/piping within the UDCs for any leaks . <br /> b , A secondary containment test must be performed on the UDCs containment sumps in <br /> accordance with the manufacturer' s guidelines or equivalent and test results submitted <br /> to the EHD within 30days of testing . <br /> Please be aware that the facility cannot operate the UDCs 7/8 and 9/10 UST system prior to <br /> the EHD inspection and approval. <br /> 4 . Secondary containment testing for the UDCs 7/8 and 9/ 10 is required six months after <br /> installation . Provide 48 hours notification to the EHD when this test is scheduled . <br /> 5 . Any individual performing the work of a service technician must meet the following <br /> qualifications : <br /> a , Possess or be employed by a person who possesses one of several permissible valid , <br /> current contractor' s licenses issued by the Contractors State License Board ( may be <br /> issued to the installation company) , or a Tank Tester' s license issued to the individual by <br /> the State Water Board <br /> 1868 E , Hazelton Avenue I Stockton , California 95205 T 209 468 -3420 F 209 464-0138 1 www . sjgov , org /ehd <br />
