Box 516 )YO/V �g9Z <br /> Woodbridge, California 95258 �' �M�r l rAL /yr <br /> Dear Mr. Newfield: CC <br /> NEWFIELD PROPERTY - 107 NORTH SCHOOL, LODI, CA <br /> The California Environmental Protection Agency, Department <br /> of Toxic Substances Control (Department) has received information <br /> that the above mentioned property may have had hazardous <br /> substances/wastes handled and disposed of on-site. San Joaquin <br /> County Environmental Health Division has indicated that tanks <br /> were removed from the site several years ago. They have not <br /> received any information to characterize any residual <br /> contamination from the leaking tanks. At the present time, the <br /> County is the lead agency in overseeing the removal and site <br /> characterization; however, failure to cooperate with them in a <br /> timely manner could result in a formal referral to our <br /> Department. <br /> Should the Department assume the lead, you may receive an <br /> information request letter pursuant to the Health & Safety Code <br /> (H&S) Section 25358. 1.
