That <br /> bill says that any owner /D0t user) of underground gas tanks that have <br /> leaked is responsible for the clean up, regardless Of who put the gas in <br /> these tanks in the first place. <br /> � <br /> I purchased my property in 1979 when gas tanks were an asset. I � \` <br /> never sold d gallon of gas to anybody and never used the tanks for anything. ^ <br /> Unfortunately, I did not remove them. Recently, because of threats of <br /> ( `~ � <br /> fines, etc. , l removed these tanks only to find that they were riveted <br /> together, which t d� in the l93O/ � when they were placed in the og� er, was up �w c co (� ` . � <br /> ground which was mandated by the City of Lodi at the time. �. �/ \ �`y <br /> I have spent close to $20,000 to date, and the Health Dppd/t|o20t <br /> ,has asked me to place monitoring wells in the ground at d Cost Of another <br /> $20,000!
