School St . , Lodi , CA <br /> This office is in receipt of your letter dated 5-27-87 regarding <br /> the underground storage tanks located at the above referenced premise. <br /> There are no provisions in .the Underground Storage Tank Law (Ca H <br /> & S Code Sect . 25280 through 25299 .6) or Regulations (CAC Title 23, <br /> Chap . 3 , Subchapter 16) for allowing tanks to remain inactive without <br /> being tested, monitored and permitted. <br /> The following options are available to you: <br /> 1 . Remit the 1986 fees of $630 .00 and 1987 permanent closu-re <br /> fees of $90.00 per tank (450 .00) prior to the due date of <br /> 6-20-87 , and submit a closure plan within 30 days of th.e <br /> date of this letter. • Closure plan requirements are enclosed. <br /> 2 . Remit the 1986 fees of $630 .00 and apply for a temporary closure <br /> permit by paying temporary closure fees of $80.00/tank ($400) <br /> by the due date of 6-20-87 , and submit a temporary closure <br /> plan within 30 days of the date of this letter. The temporary <br /> closure plan shall meet the requirements of Sect . 2670 and <br /> t 2671 of the regulations and be approved in writing by the <br /> Lodi Fire Department . It should be noted that all tanks <br /> must be precision tested to demonstratethat the tanks are <br /> not leaking before temporary closure can be allowed. <br /> i <br /> 3 . Remit the 1986 fees of $630.00 and the 1987 fees for active 1 <br /> tanks ($,150.00) as per the invoice dated 5-20-87 , and bring <br /> the tanks into compliance with the applicable monitoring <br /> requirements of CAC Title 23 , Article 4 , Sect . 2640 through <br /> 2648 . If you choose this option a site -inspection will <br /> be made and compliance dates assigned. <br /> i <br /> I <br /> i <br />
