Box 388 • Stockton, CA 95 3 <br /> 209/468-3420 �/ <br /> i <br /> Memo From the Desk of Mary Meays <br /> Senior REHS <br /> I <br /> To: Gordon Boggs., CVRWQCB <br /> Date: January 30, 1997 _ <br /> Subject: Emergency, Recalcitrant, and Abandoned Site Fund Application <br /> i <br /> Mr. Boggs, 1 <br /> The two sites which San Joaquin County Environmental Health Division has determined are <br /> eligible to obtain funds from the State Water Resources Control Board's Emergency are <br /> Siebold Corporation located at 820 South American in Stockton and Newfield Property <br /> located at 107 North School Street in Lodi. <br /> Attached to the January 14, 1997 PHS/EHD Memo were copies of the final directives <br /> which PHS/EHD has issued and which notified the responsible parties of 'PHS/EHD's intent <br /> to request funding through the EAR Account. <br /> Newfield Property <br /> In response, PHS/EHD did receive a work plan from Mark/Joseph Newfield; however, the <br /> work was not implemented, pursuant to the directive. PHS/EHD has not received anything <br /> else in writing from the responsible party and only learned that the field work had been <br /> postponed by calling the consultant on the,day that drilling had been scheduled. <br /> x <br /> Siebold Corporation l <br /> In response, PHS/EHD received the attached correspondence from Brad Frahm.
