Closure Summary Report - First Quarter 2006 <br /> LODI THEATER <br />' 107 North School Street,Lodi, California <br />' 1.0. INTRODUCTION <br /> At the request of Mr Edward Barkett of Lodi City Center 12, LLC,Advanced GeoEnvironmental, <br />' Inc (AGE) has prepared this report of environmental activities conducted at 107 North School <br /> Street, Lodi, California (the site) This report documents the procedures and results of the first <br /> quarter 2006 ground water monitoring event and advancement of two soil probe borings in January <br />' 2006,summarizes site assessment and corrective action activities to date,and provides justification <br /> for a site closure request based on the site-specific data The location of the site and its surroundings <br />' are illustrated on Figure 1 Structures and well locations associated with the site are depicted on <br /> Figure 2 <br />' This report was prepared in accordance with guidelines established by the Central Valley Regional <br /> Water Quality Control Board's (CVRWQCB's) Tri-Regional Board Staff Recommendations for <br /> Preliminary Investigations and Evaluation of Underground Storage Tank Sites (1990) and the <br />' California Water Resources Control Board's (CWRCB's) California Underground Storage Tank <br /> Regulations (1992) <br /> 2.0. BACKGROUND <br />' The site is located in a commercial area of central Lodi, San Joaquin County, California, at the <br /> northwest corner of the intersection of North School Street and West Elm Street The site is located <br /> in an area of low topographic relief at an elevation of approximately 48 feet above mean sea level <br />' (MSL, Lodi North Quadrangle, 7 5-Minute USGS Topographic Series, 1968, photo revised 1976) <br /> 2 1 SITE DESCRIPTION <br /> The site currently consists of a tiled walkway/entry area into a movie theater and several small <br /> commercial storefronts AGE has been informed that the property was formerly occupied by a <br /> gasoline service station, the gasoline service station operated from approximately 1922 until <br /> approximately 1979 <br /> 22 REGIONAL GEOLOGIC SETTING <br /> The site is located within the Great Valley Geomorphic Province of California (GVGP), a large, <br /> elongate, northwest trending structural trough The GVGP has been filled to its present elevation <br /> with thick sequences of sediment ranging in age from Jurassic to Recent,creating a nearly flat-lying <br /> alluvial plain that extends from the Tehachapi Mountains in the south to the Klamath Mountains in <br /> Ai&anced GeoEnwonmental,Inc <br />
