INTRODUCTION
At the request of Mr Edward Barkett of Lodi City Center 12 LLC,Advanced GeoEnvironmental,
Inc (AGE) has prepared this report of environmental activities at 107 North School Street, Lodi,
California Three soil-vapor sampling events were conducted between 11 June and
26 September 2002,and aground water monitoring event was conducted on 26 September 2002 The
location of the site and its surroundings are illustrated in Figure I Structures and well locations
associated with the site are depicted in Figure 2
Background information and previous site investigation activities were described in the AGE-
prepared Corrective Action Plan, dated 10 June 1999
1
2 0. PROCEDURES
Field procedures for ground water monitoring and sampling, and soil vapor extraction monitoring
are described below All field work was performed in accordance with Central Valley Regional
I • Water Quality Control Board(CVRWQCB)guidelines for investigation ofunderground storage tank
(UST)sites, ground water sampling was conducted in accordance with guideline for monitoring well
sampling issued by the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department (EHD)
I
2 1 WELL MONITORING AND EVACUATION
On 26 September 2002, a Solinst water level meter was used to measure the depth to ground water
in monitoring wells MW-2 and MW-4 through MW-8 relative to the tops of the well casings The
ground water elevations and gradient were determined from these data (Table 1)
After recording water level measurements, a dedicated disposable bailer was used to purge each
' monitoring well of standing water Between 4 and 6 gallons of water(a minimum of 3 casing-well
water volumes)were removed from each well Groundwater temperature,pH and conductivity were
' measured at regular intervals during purging using an Oakton water analyzer Field sheets and data
are included in Appendix A Purged water was stored on-site in labeled, 55-gallon,DOT-approved
drums
1
' Advanced GeoEnvironmental,Inc
1
