i
Ground Water Monitoring and Remediation Report
• LODI THEATER
' 107 North School Street, Lodi, California
I1.0. INTRODUCTION
At the request of Mr Edward Barkett of the Lodi City Center 12,LLC Advanced GeoEnvironmental,
Inc (AGE)has prepared this groundwater monitoring and remediation update report for the property
located at 107 North School Street, Lodi, California
IBackground information and previous site investigation activities were described in Corrective
Action Plan, dated 10 June 1999,prepared by AGE The site and the surrounding area are illustrated
in Figure 1 Structures, well and boring locations are illustrated on Figure 2 Historical ground water
data is presented in Tables 2 and 3
IThe following is a chronology of the site remediation and field activities covered by this report
• June 2002 - Sampling of the ground water monitoring wells
iMarch through June 2002 - monitoring and of carbon-based vapor extraction system
'• 2.0. PROCEDURES
' All field work was performed in accordance with Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control
Board(CVRWQCB)guidelines for investigation of underground storage tank(UST) sites Ground
water sampling was conducted in accordance with guideline for monitoring well sampling issued by
' the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department (EHD)
Field procedures for ground water monitoring and sampling, and soil vapor extraction monitoring
' are described below
' 21 WELL MONITORING AND EVACUATION
' Ground water sampling of monitoring wells MW-2, MW-4 through MW-8 was conducted on
24 June 2002 A Solinst water level meter was used to measure the depth to ground water in the
seven wells relative to the tops of the well casings The ground water elevations and gradient were
' determined from these data (Table 1)
After recording water level measurements, a dedicated disposable bailer was used to purge each
I monitoring well of standing water Approximately S to 7 gallons of water(a minimum of 3 casing-
well water volumes)were removed from each well Ground water temperature,pH and conductivity
were measured at regular intervals during purging using an Oakton water analyzer Field sheets and
Advanced CeoEnvironmental,Inc
I
