INTRODUCTION <br /> At the request of Mr Edward Barkett of the Lodi City Center 12,LLC Advanced GeoEnvironmental, <br />' Inc (AGE) has prepared this quarterly monitoring report for the property located at 107 North <br /> School Street, Lodi, California The ground water monitoring event reported herein was performed <br /> Ion 10 November 2000 <br /> Background information and previous site investigation activities were described in Corrective <br />' Action Plan, dated 10 June 1999, prepared by AGE The site and the surrounding area are illustrated <br /> in Figure 1 Structures, well and boring locations are illustrated on Figure 2 <br />' 2.0 PROCEDURES <br /> All field work was performed in accordance with San Joaquin County Public Health Services - <br /> Environmental Health Division (PHS-EHD) and Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control <br /> Board (CVRWQCB) guidelines for the sampling and investigation of underground storage tank <br /> (UST) sites Field procedures for ground water monitoring and sampling are described below <br />' 2 1 MONITORING WELL PURGE PROCEDURES <br /> Ground water sampling of the on-and off-site wells was conducted on 10 November 2000 A Solinst <br /> water level meter was used to measure the depth to ground water in the four wells relative to the tops <br /> of the well casings The ground water elevations and gradient were determined from these data <br />' (Table 1) <br /> After recording water level measurements, a submersible pump was used to purge each monitoring <br />' well of standing water Approximately 8 to 10 gallons of water (a minimum of 3 casing-well water <br /> volumes) were removed from each well Ground water temperature, pH and conductivity were <br /> measured at regular intervals during purging using a Hydac water analyzer Field sheets and data are <br /> I included in Appendix A Purged water was stored on-site in labeled, 55-gallon, DOT-approved <br /> drums <br /> 22 COLLECTION OF GROUND WATER SAMPLES <br />' Water samples were collected from each purged well using new disposable plastic bailers Each <br /> . water sample was transferred into both 40-m1 volatile organic analysis (VOA) vials containing 0 5 <br /> ml 18% hydrochloric acid as a sample preservative and 1-liter amber bottles without sample <br /> IAdvancer!GIoEnvpronmental,Inc <br />
