' Remediation System Installation <br /> • LODI THEATER <br />' 107 North School Street, Lodi, California <br />' 1.0 INTRODUCTION <br />' At the request of Mr Edward Barkett of the Lodi City Center 12 , LLC Advanced <br /> GeoEnvironmental, Inc (AGE) has prepared this Quarterly Report for the property located at 107 <br /> North School Street, Lodi, California <br />' Six vapor extraction wells and seven air sparging wells were installed in February and March 2000 <br /> A soil vapor extraction system and air-sparging unit were also installed during March and April <br />' 2000 <br /> Background information and previous site investigation activities, along with distribution of <br />' petroleum- impacted soil and ground water were described in the Corrective Action Plan, dated 10 <br /> June 1999, prepared by AGE The site and the surrounding area are illustrated in Figure 1 <br /> Structures, well and boring locations are illustrated on Figure 2 <br /> I <br /> . 20 PROCEDURES <br />' All field work was performed in accordance with San Joaquin County Public Health Services - <br /> Environmental Health Division (PHS-EBD) and Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control <br />' Board (CVRWQCB) guidelines for the investigation of underground storage tank (UST) sites Field <br /> procedures for well installation and sampling are described below <br /> I <br /> 21 DRILLING AND SAMPLING <br /> In February and March 2000, thirteen soil borings were advanced at the site The soil borings were <br /> advanced using a CME-75HT drill rig, equipped with 8 25-inch diameter hollow-stem augers to <br /> advance borings VW2 through VW7 and SW3 through SW9 The drill rig and three-man crew were <br /> supplied by Cascade Drilling Auger returns generated by drilling were stored on-site on visqueen <br /> plastic, pending laboratory analysis <br /> Soil samples were collected ahead of the drill bit using a California modified split-spoon sampler <br /> loaded with three pre-cleaned 2-inch by 6-inch brass sleeves The samples were collected from vapor <br /> extraction well pilot borings VW2 through VW7, with the exception of V W3 (V W3 was not <br /> sampled) at five-foot intervals, beginning at 20 feet bsg in VW2, 10 feet bsg in VW4 and VW5, and <br /> 25 feet bsg in VW6 and VW7 using a 140-pound hammer to advance the sampler The samples were <br /> collected from air sparge well pilot borings SW3 through SW9 at five-foot intervals, beginning at <br /> • <br /> Advanced CeoEnvironmental,Inc <br /> I <br />
