' Quarterly Report - Second Quarter 2000 <br /> • NEWFIELD PROPERTY <br />' 107 North School Street, Lodi, California <br />' 1.0 INTRODUCTION <br /> At the request of Mr Edward Barkett and Mr Joseph Newfield,Advanced GeoEnvironmental, Inc <br />' (AGE) has prepared this Quarterly Report for the property located at 107 North School Street, Lodi, <br /> California <br /> tRemediation well installation and system setup were reported separately in the AGE-prepared <br /> Remediation System Installation dated 18 August 2000 The ground water monitoring event reported <br />' herein was performed on 17 May 2000 <br /> Background information and previous site investigation activities were described in the Corrective <br />' Action Plan, dated 10 June 1999,prepared by AGE The site and the surrounding area are illustrated <br /> in Figure 1 Structures, well and boring locations are illustrated on Figure 2 <br /> 1 2.0. PROCEDURES <br /> lie All field work was performed in accordance with San Joaquin County Public Health Services - <br /> Environmental Health Division (PHS-EHD) and Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control <br /> Board (CVRWQCB) guidelines for the investigation of underground storage tank (UST) sites Field <br />' procedures for ground water monitoring and sampling are described below <br />' 2 1 MONITORING WELL PURGE PROCEDURES <br />' Ground water sampling of the on-and off-site wells was conducted on 17 May 2000 A Solmst water <br /> level meter was used to measure the depth to ground water in the four wells relative to the tops of <br /> the well casings The ground water elevations and gradient were determined from these data (Table <br />' 1) <br /> After recording water level measurements, a submersible pump was used to purge each monitoring <br />' well of standing water Approximately 8 to 10 gallons of water(a minimum of 3 saturated well water <br /> casing volumes)were removed from each well Ground water temperature,pH and conductivity were <br /> measured at regular intervals during purging using a Hydac water analyzer Field sheets and data are <br />' included in Appendix A Purged water was stored on-site in labeled, 55-gallon DOT-approved <br /> drums <br /> I <br /> • <br /> I <br />
