INTRODUCTION AND SCOPE OF WORK <br /> At the request of Mr Edward A Barkett of Atlas Properties, Advanced GeoEnvironmental, Inc <br />' (AGE), has prepared this Corrective Action Plan (CAP) for 107 North School Street, Lodi, <br /> California The location of the site is illustrated in Figure 1 A plan of the site is illustrated in Figure <br /> I2 <br /> The scope of the work for this CAP is to evaluate the feasibility and cost aspect of several remedial <br />' action alternatives for hydrocarbon-impacted soil and ground water at the site The CAP was <br /> prepared in accordance with guidelines established by the San Joaquin County Public Health <br /> Services - Environmental Health Division (PHS-EHD) and the Central Valley Regional Water <br />' Quality Control Board (CVRWQCB) for investigation of underground storage tank (UST) sites <br />' 2.0 BACKGROUND <br /> I • The site is Iocated in a commercial area of central Lodi, San Joaquin County, California, at the <br /> northwest corner of the intersection of North School Street and West EIm Street The site is located <br /> in an area of low topographic relief at an elevation of approximately 48 feet above mean sea level <br /> I (Lodi North Quadrangle, 7 5-Minute USGS Topographic Series, 1968, photo revised 1976) <br />' 21 SITE DESCRIPTION <br /> One structure is located on the property and is presently operated part-time as a school Operation <br />' of the school is scheduled to end in June 1999 AGE has been informed that the property was <br /> formerly occupied by a gasoline service station, the gasoline service station operated from <br /> approximately 1922 until approximately 1979 <br /> 1 <br />' 22 REGIONAL GEOLOGIC SETTING <br /> The site is located within the Great Valley Geomorphic Province of California, which is a large, <br />' elongate, northwest trending structural trough The Great Valley Province has been filled to its <br /> Present elevation with thick sequences of sediment ranging in age from Jurassic to present day, <br /> creating a nearly flat lying alluvial plain extending from the Tehachapi Mountains in the south to <br /> the Klamath Mountains in the north The western and eastern boundaries of this province are <br /> • comprised of the California Coast Range and the Sierra Nevada, respectively The Great Valley <br /> Province is subdivided into two mayor divisions designated the Sacramento and San Joaquin Valleys <br /> Advanced GeoEn-wonmento],Inc <br />
