INTRODUCTION <br /> At the request of Mr Edward Barkett and Mr Joseph Newfield,Advanced GeoEnvironmental, Inc <br /> (AGE)has prepared this Quarterly Report for the property located at 107 North School Street, Lodi, <br /> California <br /> IOne tnple-completed vapor well, two air sparging wells with vapor monitoring points and one <br /> ground water monitoring well were installed at the site in April 1999 Ground water monitoring was <br /> performed on 30 April 1999 An in-situ air sparging(IAS)and soil vapor extraction(SVE)pilot test <br /> were performed in May 1999 The SVE/IAS pilot test was be described in the Corrective Action <br /> Plan, dated 10 June 1999, prepared for the site by AGE Well installation and ground water <br /> I monitoring are described below Background information and previous site investigation activities <br /> were described in the Preliminary Site Assessment Report, dated 16 February 1999, prepared by <br /> AGE The site and the surrounding area are illustrated in Figure 1- Location Map Structures, well <br /> Iand boring locations are illustrated on Figure 2 - Site Plan <br /> w 2.0. PROCEDURES <br /> All field work was performed in accordance with San Joaquin County Public Health Services - <br /> Environmental Health Division (PHS-EHD) and Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control <br /> Board (CVRWQCB) guidelines for investigations of underground storage tank (UST) sites Field <br /> I procedures for the collection of soil samples,completion and development of wells and performance <br /> of ground water monitoring and sampling are described below <br /> 21 DRILLING AND SAMPLING <br />' From 19 to 21 April 1999, four soil borings were advanced at the site All borings were advanced <br /> to a depth of 60 feet bsg using a B-53 drill rig Boring VW1 was advanced using 10-inch diameter <br /> hollow-stem augers,bonngs SWI, SW2 and MW8 were advanced using 8 25-inch diameter hollow- <br /> stem augers The drill rig and three-man crew were supplied by Central Valley Drilling (CVD) of <br /> Rancho Cordova, California Auger returns generated by drilling were placed in 55-gallon DOT- <br /> approved drums, labeled and stored on-site pending laboratory analysis Boring locations are shown <br /> on Figure 2 <br />' Soil samples were collected ahead of the drill bit using a split-tube sampler loaded with three pre- <br /> cleaned 2-inch by 6-inch brass sleeves The samples were collected at five-foot intervals, beginning <br /> . at a depth of 5 feet below surface grade (bsg) in borings VW 1, SWI and SW2 and beginning at a <br />' Advanced GeoEm ironmentai,Inc <br />
