Advanced
GeoEnvironmental, Inc . -
05 September 2008
AGE-NC Project No. 02-0950 INIECLJjj II
UU
Ms. Margaret Lagorio - San Joaquin County EHD
600 East Main Street SEP 0 3 2008
Stockton, California 95202
ENVIRONMENT HEALTH
Subject: Quarterly Monitoring Sampling Reduction PERMIT/SERVICES
MASONITE-former Prem Dor
433 West Scotts Avenue, Stockton, California
Dear Ms. Lagorio:
On behalf of Masonite International,Inc., Advanced GeoEnvironmental,Inc.requests to reduce the
sampling frequency and analysis for specified wells in order to reduce costs at the facility located
at 433 West Scotts Avenue, Stockton, California(site). AGE proposes the following:
• Reduction of sampling frequency for wells MW-1,MW-3,MW-4 and MW-5 from quarterly
to annual. These wells have consistently been reported at non-detect levels for all analytes
during the past eight quarterly monitoring events.
• Continued quarterly monitoring for wells MW-2, MW-6 and MW-7. However, AGE
proposes to reduce sampling frequency from quarterly to annual for MW-6, if results show
non-detect levels during the next three quarters.
• Removal of analysis for total petroleum hydrocarbons quantified as diesel (TPH-d) for all
wells except MW-2; TPH-d has only been reported in samples collected from MW-2.
• Removal of analysis for TPH-d for MW-2, if analytical results continue to report non-detect
levels through the Third Quarter 2008. TPH-d has not been reported in samples collected
from MW-2 since the Third Quarter 2007.
All wells will continued to be measured quarterly for depth to water. If you have any questions or
comments,please contact our office at(209) 467-1006.
Sincerely,
Advanced GeoEnvironmental, Inc.
Ad -
Shawn K.
