WELL-HEAD SURVEY <br /> i <br /> On 31 March 2008,a California state-licensed surveying engineer from Morrow Surveying of West j <br /> Sacramento, California surveyed the location of wells MW-6 and MW-7,and existing wells MW-1 <br /> through MW-5, to the nearest centimeter using the global positioning system (GPS) and City of <br /> Stockton benchmark. The results of the monitoring well survey are recorded in Table 1; the. <br /> surveying report is presented in Appendix E. The XYZ,map and boring logs were uploaded to the <br /> State GeoTracker online database; the confirmation numbers are 1340117514, 3621307849, <br /> 3121523797, 7431322991, and 3691838145. <br /> 3.4. WASTE DISPOSAL <br /> Soil cuttings and water and well development activities were properly manifested and disposed as <br /> non-hazardous waste. Soil was characterized by laboratory analysis. <br /> On 07 April 2008, approximately 8'.56 tons of soil were transported as non-hazardous waste by <br /> L&B Environmental Inc.of Stockton,California,under waste manifest number 671250,to Forward <br /> Landfill,a licensed class Il disposal.facility located in Manteca,California,for proper disposal.The <br /> waste manifest is included in Appendix F. i <br /> 4.0. FINDINGS <br /> Soil stratigraphy was determined from field data. The contaminant 'impact to soil was quantified <br /> from laboratory analytical data. <br /> 4.1. STRATIGRAPHY <br /> For the pilot boring for well MW-6,tan brown silt,was noted at 5 to 15 feet bsg; olive brown sandy <br /> silt was noted at 20 to 25 feet bsg; and gray silty sand with a toe of gray clay was noted at 30 feet <br /> bsg. <br /> For the pilot boring for well MW-7, dark brown silty clay was noted at 5 feet bsg; olive brown silt <br /> was noted at 10 to 15 feet bsg;gray to olive brown sandy silt was noted at 20 to 25 feet bsg;and gray <br /> silty sand was noted at 30 feet bsg.
