Soil Excavation Work Plan <br /> PREM DOR <br /> 433 West Scotts Avenue, Stockton, California <br /> 1.0. INTRODUCTION <br /> At the request of Mr. Tom Crawshaw of Masonite International/Prem Dor, Advanced <br /> GeoEnvironmental, Inc. (AGE), has prepared this Soil Excavation Work Plan for 433 West Scotts <br /> Avenue, Stockton, California (the site). The scope of proposed work includes excavation, soil <br /> sample collection and analysis, and disposal of petroleum hydrocarbon-impacted soil from the <br /> former underground storage tank area. The site and surrounding area are illustrated on Figure 1; <br /> structures,soil borings,existing and proposed monitoring well locations are illustrated on Figure 2. <br /> This work plan is prepared in accordance with Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board <br /> (CVRWQCB) guidelines for the investigation of underground storage tanks (UST) sites. <br /> 2.0. SCOPE OF WORK <br /> The proposed scope of work will include the following tasks: <br /> • Planning and pre-field work activities; <br /> • Soil excavation and sample collection/analysis; <br /> • Excavation backfilling; <br /> • Soil disposal; and <br /> • Report preparation. <br /> 2.1. PERMITTING AND PRE-FIELD WORK ACTIVITIES <br /> Applicable site assessment permits will be submitted to the San Joaquin County Environmental <br /> Health Department (EHD) and a health and safety plan will be prepared in accordance with <br /> Occupational Safety and Health Guidance Manual for Hazardous Waste Site Activities (National <br /> Institute for Occupational Safety and Health Administration, U.S. Coast Guard and U.S. <br /> Environmental Protection Agency, 1985).Prior to drilling activities,each proposed drilling location <br /> will be clearly marked and a utility clearance obtained through Underground Service Alert. <br /> Advanced GeoEnvironmental,Inc. <br />
