T
Site Background Information
AGE-NC Project No. 02-0950
Department of Water Resources - Central District for water wells located in the surrounding area.
Driller's reports for 14 water wells located within a 2000-ft radius of the site were identified.
On 01 December 2004, Mr. Rodney Estrada of San Joaquin County Environmental Health
Department was contacted by an AGE representative for records of septic systems or permits for
wells located on the site property. No septic system or well permits were located for the subject
property.
On 30 November 2004, an AGE representative performed a field reconnaissance for visually
observable potential sensitive receptors located within a 2,000-foot radius of the subject site. No
additional water wells were identified during the reconnaissance.
On 01 December 2004, Mr. Eric Mar of California Water Service was contacted by an AGE
representative.According to Mr.Mar,drinking water in the area of the site is currently supplied and
maintained by California Water Service. Service to the subject site is currently inactive(turned off).
During the telephone conversation,Mr. Mar confirmed that there are no municipal wells in the area
surrounding the site.
On 01 December 2004 Mr. Richard Stiffler of City of Stockton Municipal Utilities District, was
contacted by an AGE representative. According to Mr. Stiffler the sewer system in the site area is
maintained by the City of Stockton.
Numerous monitoring wells installed for subsurface investigations, primarily associated with
underground storage tanks (UST), are located within a 2,000-foot radius of the subject property.
However, because monitoring wells are not utilized for drinking water purposes, and are destroyed
upon completion of the respective investigations, it is unlikely that they represent true "receptors"
for contaminated groundwater associated with the Prem Dor'facility.
Advanced GeoEnvironmental,Inc.
