' 01 October 2004 • AGE-NC Project No 02-0950 ' Page 3 of 4 32 ANALYTICAL RESULTS OF GROUND WATER SAMPLES TPH-g and TPH-d were detected in the water sample collected from well MW-2 at concentrations ' of 16,000 micrograms per liter(µg/1) and 7,600 µg/l, respectively BTEX components were detected in the water sample collected from well MW-2 at concentrations of 300 µg/1 benzene, 730 µg/1 toluene, 730 µg/1 ethylbenzene and 3,500 µg/1 xylenes No other analytes were detected at or above laboratory reporting limits in the ground water samples ' analyzed The analytical results of the ground water samples collected on 20 April 2004 are summarized in Table 2 The laboratory report (CTEL Project No CT214-0404155), quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC) report and chain-of-custody form are included in Appendix C ' Documents confirming the upload of laboratory electronic deliverable forinat(EDF)files and depth to water measurements to GeoTracker are included in Appendix D ' 4 0. SUMMARY AND CONCLUSIONS ' Based on the data collected from the site, AGE concludes ' • TPH-g and TPH-d were detected in sample MW-2, the respective concentrations remained relatively stable as compared to the previous quarter, TPH-d was detected for the second consecutive monitoring event ' • BTEX compounds were detected in the water samples collected from well MW-2, though all at lower levels than the previous sampling event The concentrations of BTEX detected in MW-2 were all above each constituents respective DHS maximum contaminant levels ' (MCL) • The low detections of toluene and xylenes detected in MW-3 during the last monitoring ' event were not confirmed this quarter,as there were not any detection of target analytes from MW-3 this quarter • Ground water appears to be defined toward the northeast and west or the current upgradient location, but not in any other direction Advanced GeoEnvironmental,Inc
