(ERM) in the second
quarter of 1995 at Santa Fe's Scotts Avenue Facility in Stockton, California.
Quarterly Status and Active
On June 29, 1995, ERM personnel measured depth to groundwater and
collected groundwater samples from the three monitoring wells at the Scotts
Avenue Facility underground storage tank (UST) site.
Table 1 presents the measured groundwater elevations relative to mean sea
level (MSL) at the three morutoring wells Calculation of the hydraulic
gradient at the site indicates that the water table is relatively flat (hydraulic
gradient = 0 004 ft/ft) with a northerly flow direction. A potentiometric
surface map prepared from the groundwater measurements is enclosed with
this letter (Figure 1). The depth to groundwater at the site is approximately 2
feet higher than it was in March 1995.
Table 1
Groundwater Elevation - June 29, 1995
Well YD Casing Elevation Depth to Water GW Elevation
(MSL)
MW-1 23 89 ft. 53 47 ft. -29.58 ft.
MW-2 20 70 ft. 50.84 ft. -3014 ft
MW-3 1813 ft. 48.20 ft. -30.07 ft.
A member of the Environmental
R,.oar NO in let rrvntfrnur
