Mr. Mick Harden Page 2
July 20, 1995
Groundwater samples from all three monitoring wells were analyzed for
Total Petroleum Hydrocarbon as diesel and gasoline (TPH-D and TPH-G) by
USEPA Method 8015 Modified and benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene, and total
xylenes (BTEX) by USEPA Method 8020.
Results
No target chemical constituents were detected in groundwater samples
collected from monitoring wells MW-1 and MW-3. An unidentified
hydrocarbon compound (C9-C24) was detected in monitoring well MW-2 at a
concentration of 56 gg/l This detection was quite low and very close to the
method detection limit
All sampling results are summarized in Table 2. Complete laboratory
analytical results and Chain-of-Custody forms are included in Attachment A
Table 2
Analytical Results - Second Quarter 1995
Well ID TPH-G TPH-D BTEX
MW-1 <50 gg/l <50 µg/l <0.50 µg/1
• MW-2 <50 µg/l 56 gg/l N <0.50 gg/l
MW-3 <50 µg/l <50 µg/l <0.50 µg/l
Note {*} = Unidentified hydrocarbon (C9-C24)
If you have any questions regarding this matter, please contact me at
(916) 444-9378
Sincerely,
ERM-WEST, INC
'W``4r'W
Leslie A oodbody
Project Manager
Enclosure.
