The business operator must post the following information next to telephones or in areas directly involved in <br /> the generation and accumulation of hazardous waste: the name and emergency telephone number of the <br /> emergency coordinator,the location of fire extinguishers and spill control material, and the telephone number of the <br /> fire department unless the facility has a direct alarm. <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately update emergency coordinator for contingency at the facility. Provide a <br /> statement to the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department that the correction is complete. <br /> This is a repeat violation, Class II. <br /> 303 CCR 66262.34(d)(2) Failed to maintain all communication or alarm systems, spill control, or decontamination <br /> equipment. <br /> OBSERVATION: The following were observed in the hazardous wastes storage area: <br /> -Secondary containment for one 55-gallon drum with waste antifreeze and one 55-gallon drum with used oil <br /> observed with approximately 2 inches of used oil accumulating inside. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE:All facility communications or alarm systems,fire protection equipment, spill control <br /> equipment, and decontamination equipment,where required, shall be tested and maintained as necessary to assure <br /> its proper operation in time of emergency. <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Bring the secondary containment for waste antifreeze and used oil into proper working <br /> order by repair, replacement or testing.
