HAZARD EVALUATION <br /> The following substance(s) or hazards are known or suspected to be on site. <br /> SUBSTANCES,INVOLVED ` CONCENTRATIONS: <br /> TPH-g 7.7 to 21,000 milligram per,kilogram <br /> TPH-d 1.1 to 6,700 milligrams per kilogram <br /> MTBE 0.069 to 27 milligrams per'kilogram <br /> $ Therim hazards of each are identified as follows: <br /> p �'y <br /> 1. Hydrocarbon fuels - Components of fuels are colorless liquids A.ith. strong aromatic <br /> ` petroleum hydrocarbon-like odors. They are flammable and have low,solubility in water. <br /> Exposure to these materials in excess of recommended exposure limits can cause mild eye, <br /> nose, and throat irritation and can produce a narcotic effect on the central nervous system. <br /> Symptoms of exposure at these concentrations include headache, ',nausea, drowsiness, <br /> dizziness,and loss of coordination. Certain components of gasoline(BTE&X etc.)are known <br /> or suspected carcinogens. <br /> The following additional hazards are expected on site: typical work related to facility.
