INTRODUCTION <br /> At the request of Mr James Langston of Langston's Market, Advanced GeoEnvironmental, Inc <br /> r (AGE)has prepared this quarterly report for the property located at 15615 South Th Street, Lathrop, <br /> California The scope of work included well repairs, purge water disposal, the performance of a <br /> quarterly ground water monitoring event and preparation of this report The location of the site and <br /> rsurrounding area are Illustrated on Figure 1 Structures, soil borings, and monitoring well locations <br /> are Illustrated on Figure 2 Details of previous investigations are summarized in Appendix A <br /> r <br /> 2.0. PROCEDURES <br /> rOn 23 June 2005, a quarterly ground water monitoring event was performed at the site Field work <br /> was conducted in accordance with Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board <br /> r (CVRWQCB) and San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department (EHD) guidelines for <br /> investigating underground storage tank (UST) sites and sampling ground water monitoring wells, <br /> respectively <br /> la <br /> 21 REPAIRS AND PURGE WATER DISPOSAL <br />' Three damaged well boxes were replaced on 12 and 20 April 2005 On 14 April 2005,approximately <br /> 275 gallons of non-hazardous purge water was pumped from on-site 55-gallon drums The purge <br /> water had been generated during previous ground water monitoring events Pumping and disposal <br /> was completed by American Valley Waste Oil, Inc of Delhi, California The purge water was <br /> disposed at Riverbank Oil Transfer located In Riverbank, California A copy of the waste disposal <br /> manifest Is Included in Appendix B <br /> 2 2 WELL MONITORING AND EVACUATION <br /> A Solinst water level meter was used to measure the depth to ground water in ground water <br /> monitoring wells MW-1 through MW-6 and MW-8 relative to the tops of the well casings Well <br /> MW-7 was not monitored or sampled this quarter because the well was covered and Inaccessible <br /> IThe ground water elevations and gradient were determined from this data (Table 1) <br /> After recording water level measurements, a two-stage submersible pump was used to evacuate <br /> (purge)wells MW-1 and MW-2 and dedicated,disposable plastic bailers were used to evacuate wells <br /> MW-3, MW-4, MW-5, MW-6 and MW-8 of standing water Approximately 6 25 to 20 gallons of <br /> • water were removed from wells MW-2 through MW-8 Monitoring well MW-1 was purged dry after <br /> Advanced GeoEnvironroental,Inc <br />
