Advanced <br /> GeoEnvi.ronmental, Inc. = = �- <br /> 16 May 2001 <br /> AGE-NC Project No 98-0511 <br /> Mr Michael Infurna <br /> SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY PHS-EHD <br /> 304 East Weber Avenue <br /> Stockton, CA 95202 <br /> Subject: Sensitive Receptor Survey <br /> Langston's Market <br /> 15615 South 7'' Street,Lathrop, California <br /> Dear Mr Infurna <br /> At the request of Mr James Langston,Advanced GeoEnvironmental,Inc (AGE)has prepared the enclosed <br /> sensitive receptor survey for 15615 South 7'Street,Lathrop,California The scope of the work included an <br /> area reconnaissance for visible potential receptors within a 2,000-foot radius of the property,a review of files <br /> and records available from the City of Lathrop Public Works Department(CLPWD), San Joaquin County <br /> Public Health Service - Environmental Health Division (PHS-EHD), California Water Service Company <br /> (CWSC) and Department of Water Resources (DWR) <br /> WELL SURVEY <br /> A receptor survey was performed to identify city, domestic, irrigation or monitoring water wells and other <br /> potential sensitive receptors located within a 2,000-foot radius of the subject site(Figure 1) The following <br /> is a summary of the findings of the survey A list of the wells and their locations relative to Figure 1 is <br /> provided in Table 1 <br /> • According to Ms Denora Gagaza of the City of Lathrop Building Department,no Lathrop CLPWD <br /> water wells were located within the 2,000-foot radius,Ms Gagaza stated that the nearest well to the <br /> subject site was "abated" (destroyed) in the 1980s <br /> • According to Mr Eric Mar of CWSC, there are no CWSC wells located that far south of Stockton <br /> • Representatives of AGE performed an area reconnaissance for visible potential receptors within a <br /> 2,000-foot radius ofthe above referenced site A representative number(24 spaced throughout 2,000- <br /> foot radius, see Appendix A)of residences and commercial establishments were queried regarding <br /> their water source West of 7'Street,all but one residents interviewed claim that they no longer have <br /> their own water wells and are receiving city water, one private well at a residence on the southwest <br /> comer of East J and 5'Streets has a back-flow preventer on it and was used for the garden/yard only <br /> AGE did not observe any domestic wells in this area AGE did locate four domestic wells within the <br /> 2,000-foot radius cast of McKinley Avenue Residents interviewed along the east side of McKinley <br /> Avenue with visible private wells all stated that they receive city water and they no longer use their <br /> wells Residents interviewed along Park Avenue were using their own water <br /> 837 Shaw Road, Stockton, California 95215 <br /> Telephone (209) 467-1006 FAX(209) 467-1118 <br />
