INTRODUCTION <br /> At the request of Mr James Langston of Langston's Market, Advanced GeoEnvironmental, Inc <br />' (AGE)has prepared this quarterly report for the property located at 15615 South 7`h Street,Lathrop, <br /> California The scope of work included the replacement of one monitoring well box, performance <br /> of a quarterly ground water monitoring event and preparation of this report The location of the site <br /> and surrounding area are illustrated on Figure 1 Structures and monitoring well locations on the site <br /> are illustrated on Figure 2 Details of previous investigations are summarized in Appendix A <br /> r <br /> 2.0. PROCEDURES <br /> On 09 July 2004, the well box on ground water monitoring well MW-4 was replaced, a quarterly <br /> ground water monitoring event was performed at the site on 22 September 2004 Field work was <br />' performed in accordance with Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board(CVRWQCB) <br /> and San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department (EHD) guidelines for investigating <br /> underground storage tank (UST) sites and sampling ground water monitoring wells, respectively <br /> I� <br /> 21 WELL BOX REPLACEMENT <br /> On 07 July 2004,the damaged well box on ground water monitoring well MW-4 was replaced Two <br /> full bags of concrete mix were used in the installation of the new well box <br /> 2 2 QUARTERLY GROUND WATER MONITORING <br /> AGE conducted a quarterly ground water monitoring event on 22 September 2004 <br /> 2 2 1 Well Monitoring and Evacuation <br /> A Solinst water level meter was used to measure the depth to ground water in ground water <br /> monitoring wells MW-1 through MW-8 relative to the tops of the well casings The ground water <br /> elevations and gradient were determined from this data(Table 1) <br /> After recording water level measurements, a disposable bailer was used to evacuate (purge) each <br /> monitoring well of standing water Approximately 3 5 to 14 gallons of water were removed from <br /> . wells MW-2 through MW-8 Monitoring well MW-1 was purged dry after 15 gallons of water had <br /> been evacuated Groundwater temperature,pH,and conductivity were measured at regular intervals <br /> IAdvanced GeoEnvironrnental,Inc <br /> I <br />
